Philippine Authorities Arrest Over 160 Foreign Nationals in Major Cybercrime Raid

The raid targeted an illegal online gaming and scam hub in Cebu, following a crackdown ordered by President Marcos.

More than 100 agents, supported by military intelligence, conducted the raid in Lapu-Lapu city.
The operation uncovered three scam farms involving fraudulent love, gaming, and investment schemes.
Arrested individuals include 83 Chinese, 70 Indonesians, and others from Myanmar, Taiwan, and Malaysia.
The Indonesian Embassy requested the raid to rescue eight Indonesians forced to work at the site.
The resort owner faces criminal charges, and detained foreigners will be investigated and possibly deported.
