Philippe Clement appointed as new Rangers manager after extensive search

Rangers have named former Monaco boss Philippe Clement as their new manager on a 3.5 year contract.
Clement was the preferred choice after a selection process involving former Rangers player Kevin Muscat.
The appointment comes amid a difficult season for Rangers who were knocked out of Champions League qualifying and trail Celtic in the league.
Clement has previously won league titles in Belgium but struggled in his last role with Monaco.
Rangers will hope Clement can replicate his success at Club Brugge and Genk as they aim to catch Celtic domestically and progress in the Europa League.
