Philadelphia Woman Faces Federal Charges for Indecent Exposure and Assault on Frontier Airlines Flight
Dulce Huertas, 60, allegedly exposed herself and threatened passengers after consuming two cocktails during the flight from Orlando to Philadelphia.
- Dulce Huertas, a 60-year-old woman from Philadelphia, has been charged with indecent exposure, interference with flight crew members and attendants, and simple assault following an incident on a Frontier Airlines flight from Orlando to Philadelphia in November 2023.
- Huertas allegedly had two cocktails during the flight, then stood up as the plane was about to land and announced she needed to pee. When told to sit down by a flight attendant, she began cursing and yelling.
- After the plane landed, Huertas allegedly began cursing at passengers around her, pushed her way to the front of the plane, and when stopped by flight attendants, she pulled down her pants and underwear and squatted as if to urinate in the aisle.
- Huertas did not urinate, but instead stood up and pulled her underwear and pants back up, exposing herself to passengers, including children. She then allegedly continued to yell, curse, and threatened to kill several passengers.
- If convicted, Huertas faces a maximum sentence of 21 years and three months in prison, three years of supervised release, and a $355,000 fine.
