Philadelphia Teen Basketball Star Noah Scurry Fatally Shot on Way to School

The 17-year-old honor student and athlete was killed outside his home in an incident involving dozens of gunshots, leaving the community in shock.

Noah Scurry, a 17-year-old senior at Samuel Fels High School in Philadelphia, was shot multiple times near his home on January 14, 2025, while heading to school with his mother.
Scurry was pronounced dead shortly after being transported to Jefferson Einstein Hospital; no arrests have been made, and a motive remains unclear.
