Overview
- City guidance details extensive street closures beginning at 8 a.m. on Dec. 31 through about 6 a.m. Jan. 1, including inner lanes of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Eakins Oval, parts of Spring Garden Street, MLK Drive and Kelly Drive.
- Additional traffic restrictions are scheduled for 6 p.m., including the Spring Garden Tunnel and select I‑676 and I‑76 ramps, which will reopen after the event.
- Park and river-area roads such as Lemon Hill Drive, Sedgley Drive, Waterworks Drive and Poplar Drive will close from 10 p.m. to roughly 1 a.m. for fireworks safety.
- The Parkway concert footprint opens at 6 p.m. for security screening, the show begins at 8 p.m., and the Delaware River waterfront will stage fireworks with three barges at midnight along with a separate 6 p.m. show.
- Temporary No Parking zones will be posted on affected streets, vehicles left in restricted areas will be relocated, and owners should contact the police district where their vehicle was parked if it is moved.
