Philadelphia Mass Shooting Suspect to Stand Trial

After undergoing mental health treatment, the suspect in last summer's Kingsessing mass shooting is deemed fit for trial.

Kimbrady Carriker, 41, faces charges including five counts of murder and illegal gun possession following the apparently random shootings in early July.
The suspect had been previously deemed mentally incompetent but is now prepared to move forward with the case after receiving treatment.
During a preliminary hearing, detectives showcased body-worn camera footage of Carriker walking about a mile during most of the shootings.
Investigators are still trying to determine what prompted Carriker to fire on some individuals and not others.
Prosecutors revealed Carriker left a will dated June 23 at his home, and he had been seen agitated and wearing a tactical vest before the shootings.
