Overview
- Under the new Member Support Program, players ranked 126 and beyond on the prior season’s FedExCup list who held exemption receive a $150,000 earnings floor after completing 12 combined PGA and Korn Ferry starts, with the Tour covering any shortfall at season’s end.
- The Pathways Player Achievement Grant gives $15,000 upfront to Korn Ferry Tour Nos. 21–75, PGA Tour Americas Nos. 1–10, and the top five available from PGA Tour University, with no event requirement and unrestricted use of funds.
- Both programs begin in 2026 after policy board approval aimed at rewarding strong performers and supporting players progressing through or returning to the PGA Tour.
- The initiatives are funded by reallocating money from the 2022 Earnings Assurance Program that advanced $500,000 to fully exempt members, a pool expected to contract as fully exempt cards drop to 100 in 2026.
- The Korn Ferry Tour will permit distance-measuring devices in 2026 and apply a stricter pace-of-play policy that escalates from a one-shot penalty to two shots and then disqualification for repeated bad times when timed.
