PFL Signs TUF 29 Winner Bryan Battle to Multi-Fight Middleweight Deal

The move follows his UFC release for repeated weight misses that led to a canceled UFC 319 bout.

PFL announced the signing Friday on social media, with Battle set for the middleweight roster and his opponent and debut date to be determined.
Battle rebounded on Aug. 29 at Dirty Boxing 3 in Miami, making 186 pounds and stopping Derik de Freitas by TKO in 56 seconds.
The UFC cut Battle in August after he came in four pounds over the middleweight limit for a scheduled fight with Nursulton Ruziboev at UFC 319, which was then canceled.
He previously missed weight by four pounds at welterweight for a bout with Randy Brown, contributing to ongoing concerns about his reliability on the scale.
Battle, now 12-2 with 1 no contest, won The Ultimate Fighter 29 at 185 pounds and will join PFL’s middleweight field.
