PFL Expands Global Reach with Dubai MMA Deal

The Professional Fighters League partners with Dubai to host regular MMA events, starting with a major bout in January 2025.

The PFL has signed a multiyear agreement with Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism and Dubai Sports Council to host MMA events in the UAE.
The first event under this partnership will be the Champions Series on January 25, 2025, at Dubai's Coca-Cola Arena, featuring Usman Nurmagomedov vs. Paul Hughes.
This expansion follows PFL's successful entry into Saudi Arabia, where it hosted five events in 2024.
PFL aims to develop local talent in the UAE as part of its strategy to grow the sport in the Middle East.
The league continues to expand globally, with plans for a PFL Africa division in 2025 and an Australian league targeted for 2026.
