• Peyton Manning joined controlling owner Rob Cohen as a part-owner of the NWSL’s 16th franchise.
• Manning, a five-time NFL MVP and two-time Super Bowl champion, said he is honored to support the growth of women’s sports in Colorado.
• The ownership roster includes Olympic skier Mikaela Shiffrin, Ariel Investments’ Project Level and members of the Coors family.
• The franchise was secured with a record $110 million expansion fee, more than twice that paid for the preceding NWSL team.
• Denver NWSL will play its first two seasons in a 12,000-seat temporary stadium in Centennial before moving into a planned 14,500-seat downtown facility by 2028.
