Peugeot Sweeps Friday Practice at Fuji as Jensen Sets FP2 Benchmark

Mikkel Jensen paced FP2 in the No. 93 Peugeot at 1:29.495, topping Julien Andlauer’s No. 5 Porsche by 0.017 seconds.
Marco Sørensen put the No. 009 Aston Martin third in FP2, 0.047 back, with Toyota fourth through Ryo Hirakawa’s No. 8 and Alpine fifth via Charles Milesi.
The remainder of FP2’s top ten featured Nyck de Vries in the No. 7 Toyota, Alex Lynn for Cadillac, Antonio Fuoco’s No. 50 Ferrari, Harry Tincknell’s No. 007 Aston Martin and Kevin Estre’s No. 6 Porsche.
Earlier, Loïc Duval led a Peugeot 1-2 in FP1 with a 1:30.152, ahead of both Aston Martins, as Ferrari placed ninth and tenth.
Lexus topped LMGT3 in both sessions, with Clemens Schmid’s No. 87 leading FP2 at 1:41.431 after Ben Barnicoat’s No. 78 paced FP1, and final practice starts Saturday at 9:50 a.m. local.
