Peugeot Refreshes 308 With Illuminated Badge as E-308 Gains Range and New EV Tech

European deliveries start in autumn 2025 from Peugeot’s Mulhouse plant, with pricing to be announced.

Overview

  • Peugeot unveils facelifted 308 hatch and SW with a redesigned front, slimmer split three-claw lights, and the brand’s first illuminated shield emblem.
  • The fully electric E-308 now claims 281 miles WLTP, up 23 miles through efficiency improvements while retaining a ~156 hp motor and 58.4 kWh battery.
  • Plug & Charge and Vehicle-to-Load functionality are added for the E-308, and 100 kW DC charging enables a 20–80% top-up in about 32 minutes.
  • A heat pump becomes standard on the GT Premium trim to improve cold-weather efficiency, and the cabin gains new 3D cluster graphics with OTA-ready infotainment.
  • Powertrains span a 1.5 BlueHDi diesel (129 hp), a 1.2-litre mild-hybrid petrol, a 192 hp plug-in hybrid with a 17.2 kWh battery and about 53 miles EV range, and the full E-308.
