Peugeot Refreshes 308 and 308 SW With Larger E-308 Battery and New Charging Features

Orders open in autumn 2025 with a modest E‑308 range gain, new charging utilities, wider hybrids and a diesel option.

Overview

  • Peugeot unveils a comprehensive facelift for the 308 range, aligning the design with the brand’s three‑claw light signature and offering an illuminated front logo on GT trims.
  • The E‑308 now uses a 58.4 kWh gross (55.4 kWh usable) battery for an estimated WLTP range of about 450 km, retains the 115 kW motor and 400‑V system, and charges from 20–80% in roughly 32 minutes at up to 100 kW DC (11 kW AC onboard).
  • New tech includes Vehicle‑to‑Load capability, an integrated charge‑route planner and over‑the‑air updates, with Plug&Charge scheduled to roll out from spring 2026.
  • The powertrain lineup spans a 48V mild‑hybrid petrol (145 PS), a strengthened plug‑in hybrid with 195 PS and up to 85 km WLTP electric range, and a 1.5‑litre BlueHDi diesel due from spring 2026.
  • Production continues in Mulhouse, France, with ordering to begin in autumn 2025 and pricing for the facelifted models yet to be announced.
