• Incredibles 3 was first announced at Disney’s D23 Expo in August 2024 and is now in active development under Peter Sohn.
• Sohn was handpicked by Brad Bird and Pixar chief creative officer Pete Docter to lead the franchise’s third installment.
• Bird remains the film’s screenwriter, producing alongside Dana Murray as he concentrates on Ray Gunn and 1906.
• Sohn is a Pixar veteran whose credits include story work on Finding Nemo, The Incredibles and Incredibles 2 and directing The Good Dinosaur and Elemental.
• The first two Incredibles films earned a combined $1.8 billion at the global box office and the original won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
