• On June 27, 2025, Judge Gavin Doig jailed Lamb for 17 years at Newcastle Crown Court after his March guilty plea to importing a Class A drug.
• Investigators uncovered nearly 1.5 tonnes of cocaine concealed inside custom-built compartments in rolls of artificial grass imported via two cover companies.
• In May 2024, Dutch customs officers found £13 million of cocaine in two consignments and notified the National Crime Agency.
• After substituting the seized drugs with dummy cargo, NCA officers arrested Lamb at his Stockton-on-Tees warehouse when he accepted the delivery.
• Probes revealed that the Lomax companies set up in mid-2023 never traded genuine products and were used solely as fronts for trafficking.
