Peruvian Restaurant 'Central' Named World's Best in Annual Ranking

Central in Lima, Peru was named the top restaurant in the world according to the World's 50 Best Restaurants list.
Four Lima restaurants were included in the top 50, making Peru the gastronomic capital of the world.
Spain and Italy also performed well, with six and five restaurants on the list respectively.
Bangkok had two restaurants in the top 20 for the first time.
The list of 50 restaurants spans 24 territories across five continents, with 12 new entries this year.
