Overview
- The Fiscalía de la Nación formalized the body through Resolution No. 3578-2025-MP-FN, published on November 23 in the official gazette El Peruano.
- Supreme Prosecutor Tomás Aladino Gálvez Villegas will chair the group, which includes more than 46 participants from the Public Ministry, academia, civil society, and public and private entities.
- The mandate runs for three months from installation with possible extension upon a justified request by the chair, culminating in a final draft proposal to be delivered to the Fiscal de la Nación.
- The Junta de Fiscales Supremos unanimously backed the initiative on November 10 (Agreement No. 1110-2025) and its members may contribute in sessions but are not formal members.
