Overview
- New places will incorporate users into two free services: Day Care (SCD) and Family Accompaniment (SAF).
- SCD serves children 6 to 36 months at CIAI centers from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., providing daily care, early stimulation and three meals designed by nutritionists.
- SAF supports children 0 to 36 months and pregnant women preferably in the last trimester through weekly home visits and group sessions on caregiving, nutrition and early stimulation.
- Enrollment prioritizes focalized districts and requires identity documents, the child’s CRED card, proof of public health insurance and parental authorization for nutritional monitoring and iron supplements, with typical application age windows of 6 to 30 months for SCD and 0 to 30 months for SAF.
- Families can check coverage and apply via www.gob.pe/cunamas, the Midis call center at (01) 748-2000 or local management committees and Territorial Units, and the program currently serves more than 340,000 people nationwide.
