Peru Sets DNI-Based Schedule for Eighth AFP Withdrawal Starting October 21

Withdrawn funds are protected from seizure, with courts allowed to retain up to 30% only for child-support obligations.

Overview

  • AFP administrators published an official registration calendar that assigns request dates by the last digit or letter of the DNI, with online filing opening on October 21, 2025.
  • Under the SBS operational rule, the registration window lasts 90 days from entry into force, with the final day to file set for January 19, 2026.
  • Affiliates may request up to 4 UIT (S/21,400), with disbursements made in up to four instalments of up to 1 UIT each, the first within 30 days of submitting the request and the rest every 30 days.
  • A free window for late applicants runs from December 4, 2025 to January 18, 2026, complementing the staggered schedule to ease platform demand.
  • The process is conducted through official AFP links and pays only to bank accounts in the affiliate’s name, and the money is generally unseizable except for court-ordered retentions of up to 30% for child support.
