Overview
- OSIPTEL released its 2025 user-satisfaction study on June 30, 2026, reporting mobile satisfaction rose to 65% from 52% in 2024 and fixed-internet satisfaction rose to 64% from 45%.
- By operator, Entel and Claro led mobile satisfaction at 71% each while Win topped fixed-internet satisfaction at 80%, with Wow, Claro and Movistar following in the fixed rankings.
- Regional results were uneven: Tumbes scored highest for mobile satisfaction at 76%, followed by Callao at 73% and Lima at 71%.
- Despite overall gains, many users still face serious faults: 33% reported major mobile problems (mainly mobile internet failures at 39% and service interruptions at 30%) and 40% reported major fixed-internet problems (interruptions 28% and full outages 26%).
- Falling dissatisfaction rates and the remaining reliability gaps together mean regulators may press operators for targeted fixes and new investment, and consumers can expect both improved offers and continued risk of outages in parts of the country.
