Overview
- The Superintendencia de Banca, Seguros y AFP (SBS) published Resolution SBS Nº 02326-2026 on Wednesday, September 23, and the measure takes effect on Thursday, September 24, 2026.
- The resolution allows Empresas Administradoras de Fondos (EAF/AFPs) to sign contracts with authorized intermediaries such as payment-service firms, banks, and complementary service companies to collect contributions through wallets, mobile apps, correspondent ATMs, and similar channels.
- Operational safeguards require intermediaries to deposit collected money no later than the second business day after collection and force AFPs to track the full funds flow, run reconciliations, correct errors, and handle incidents.
- The rule bars use of affiliates' personal data without their express consent except where law permits and requires AFPs to absorb any intermediary fees so the contributor's paid amount is fully credited.
- The change implements parts of Law Nº 32123 and was drafted with the Central Reserve Bank (BCRP); practical rollout depends on AFP–intermediary agreements and on providers being specifically enabled, which will determine how quickly independent workers can use services like Yape or Plin to pay contributions.
