- The Policía Nacional del Perú inaugurated a new Laboratorio Digital Forense at the Dirección de Criminalística, which Tuesday began operating with specialized equipment and AI tools to process electronic evidence.
- Officials said the project is part of a plan to build 11 regional digital forensic units with a combined investment of more than S/49 million to decentralize pericial services.
