Overview
- Supreme Decree No. 330-2025-EF, published in El Peruano, formalizes the new maximum for the Sistema Nacional de Pensiones.
- The ONP will disburse the adjusted amounts beginning in February 2026 with a surname-based calendar: A–C on Feb. 6, D–L on Feb. 9, and M–Q on Feb. 10, with remaining dates to follow.
- For retirement pensions, the adjustment applies to those with at least 20 years of contributions, and the increase can be up to S/100 depending on the prior pension.
- Pensioners who received partial increases in 2025 will be paid only the difference needed to reach S/1,000, and proportional pensions with fewer than 20 years are excluded.
- Before this change, the SNP’s commonly cited maximum was S/893 under the Decreto Ley 19990 regime.
