- Creating the account does not enroll the student; it prepares verified information so parents can later request a seat when vacancies open.
- The digital process applies only to first-time entrants and students transferring between public schools, not those continuing at the same institution.
- This initial rollout covers 20 local education units in six regions, including Lima Metropolitana, Callao, Lima Provincias, Arequipa, Moquegua and Tacna.
- Vacancy requests must be submitted through the official portal at https://matriculadigital.pe/, and the service is free with no payments required.
