- Peru’s official calendar lists Saturday, November 1 (All Saints’ Day) as a national holiday, while Friday, October 31 is neither a holiday nor a government-declared day off.
- There is no Peru-wide long weekend for October 31 to November 2, and work and classes on Friday proceed normally unless an employer grants time off.
- Peruvian law (Decreto Legislativo N.º 713) entitles employees who work on the November 1 holiday without compensatory rest to triple pay.
- In Argentina, Monday, October 27 is a regular workday nationwide, but local non-working days apply in Alberti, Marcos Paz, 9 de Julio and the province of Santa Cruz, mainly covering public administration with private-sector adoption optional.
