Peru Begins One-Time S/300 Aguinaldo for Public Workers

Overview

  • The Ministry of Economy and Finance issued Decreto Supremo N.º 128-2026-EF creating a one-time aguinaldo of S/300 for most public-sector workers and S/100 for medical and dental interns, with deposits starting July payrolls.
  • To qualify, employees had to be in service on June 30, 2026, and generally show at least three months of tenure at that date, with payments prorated for shorter periods.
