Overview
- Agroexports reached more than US$6.73 billion in January–July 2025, up 19.3% year on year, according to Midagri.
- Non-traditional shipments totaled US$6.198 billion, led by avocados (US$1.08 billion), fresh grapes (US$692 million), raw cocoa (US$510 million) and blueberries (US$380 million).
- Traditional agrarian exports hit US$532 million, rising 19.6% on stronger coffee sales that accounted for US$483 million.
- The agrarian trade balance posted a US$2.733 billion surplus, a 33% increase, with the top ten destinations concentrating 75.4% of export value.
- Midagri announced a US$24 billion project pipeline, confirmed US$11 billion committed to irrigation works including Chavimochic III, Majes-Siguas, Alto Piura and Poechos, set a goal for 25 projects to be contracted or in execution by July next year, and plans 34 new market openings plus 110,000 rural land titles within 12 months.
