Overview
- Martin Thomas Glynn, 39, was charged with conduct intended to racially harass, possession of a prohibited weapon, and improper firearm storage after a raid on his Yangebup home.
- Investigators told the court they found six rifles, about 4,000 rounds of ammunition, Hamas and Hezbollah flags, antisemitic writings, and a handwritten list consistent with making explosives.
- Police allege Glynn posted, “I… 100 per cent support the New South Wales shooters,” hours after the Dec. 14 attack that killed 15 people at a Hanukkah event on Bondi Beach.
- A magistrate refused bail and remanded Glynn to reappear in February, as WA Police said he was previously unknown to authorities and not linked to a wider network.
- Police said most firearms were legally owned and moved to cancel his licence, while New South Wales separately passed tighter gun limits and new protest powers following the Bondi attack.
