Overview
- The Volksfest runs August 29 to September 7, with Loisach-Gaufest events on August 28 and August 31.
- Fairground attractions will operate from Thursday for the Heimatabend, including autoscooter, a ghost train, the Twister and a children’s carousel.
- Friday’s opening begins with a free beer pour at 18:00 on the Stadtplatz, followed by the procession to the Berghalde and the keg tapping in the tent from 19:00.
- Road closures include Friday from roughly 17:30 to 19:00 along Karlstraße, Bahnhofstraße/Friedrich‑Ebert‑Straße to the Grube roundabout and up Grube to Zibetholzweg, and Sunday from about 12:00 to 17:30 on the St2370 (Bahnhofstraße/Grube), with signed detours in place.
