Pentagon's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office Launches Secure Portal for Reporting Unidentified Aerial Phenomena

New Portal to Collect Firsthand Accounts of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Back to 1945 Aims to Inform Upcoming Congressional Report, Excludes Sensitive Information and Maintains Existing Procedures for Reporting Current Incidents.

  • The Pentagon's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) has set up an online form for current and former US government employees, service members, and contractors to report first-hand information about Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) programs dating back to 1945.
  • The portal aims to collect data to inform AARO's congressionally directed Historical Record Report and investigations into alleged US government UAP programs, due to Congress in June of 2024.
  • The form does not replace the existing procedures for reporting current operational UAP sightings and is not designed to convey sensitive or classified information.
  • Despite hundreds of reports received, AARO has found no credible evidence of extraterrestrial activity, off-world technology, or objects that defy the known laws of physics.
  • While the new portal is currently limited to government workers, AARO plans to launch a similar public portal in the near future.
