Overview

  • The Department of Defense awarded a $9.5 billion multiyear contract to Lockheed Martin’s Troy, Alabama, and Orlando, Florida, facilities to expand production of Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missiles and Long Range Anti-Ship Missiles.
  • The award runs through January 2033 under the 2024 National Defense Authorization Act’s multiyear procurement authority designed to stabilize the missile supply chain.
  • Troy’s new 225,000 sq ft intelligent factory features digital forecasting models, robotic paint lines and automated assembly to meet accelerated delivery schedules.
  • Foreign Military Sales deliveries of JASSM and LRASM to Poland, the Netherlands, Japan and Finland are scheduled through 2033 to reinforce allied deterrence.
  • Initial contract obligations have been funded and manufacturing upgrades are already underway as the Pentagon executes the agreement.
