- Monsee's videos allegedly showed her mutilating a live chicken, pigeon, rabbit and frogs, soliciting more likes and followers from her 20,000 subscribers as she did so.
- Monsee's YouTube channel has been terminated for violating the platform's community guidelines against violent or abusive content towards animals.
- The investigation into Monsee's activities started with an email tip from the animal rights group People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
- Monsee is expected in court for a preliminary hearing on February 5.
