Pennsylvania Resident Arrested for Alleged Threats Against Trump

Paul Gavenonis, 74, was charged with making terroristic threats and disorderly conduct before a Trump rally at Penn State.

Paul Gavenonis, who identifies as female and uses she/her pronouns, allegedly threatened to kill former President Donald Trump while purchasing a parking pass at Penn State.
The alleged threats included a desire to shoot Trump and discussions about scaling a building to carry out the act.
Authorities arrested Gavenonis after a transportation office employee reported the comments to Penn State Police.
Gavenonis admitted to law enforcement that she had a rifle at home and expressed a belief that she could assassinate Trump.
The suspect, a registered Democrat, is being held without bail at Centre County Correctional Facility due to concerns about being suicidal.
