Pennsylvania Parents Arrested for Starving and Abusing 1-Year-Old Twins
The twins were found in a near-death condition, displaying severe signs of neglect and physical abuse.
- Two Pennsylvania parents, Armani Coleman and Zamareon Moat, have been arrested and charged with aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of children, and conspiracy after their 1-year-old twins were found near death due to starvation and physical abuse.
- The twins displayed signs of severe neglect and abuse, including near-fatal head injuries, marks of possible strangulation, bite marks, and an emaciated condition due to intentional food restriction.
- Investigators discovered disturbing internet searches by the parents for 'scar removal cream for toddlers,' 'how to get rid of a bite mark,' and 'can you tell if a baby been choked,' indicating attempts to cover up the abuse.
- The Department of Children and Youth Services had previously opened a case on the children after they missed 15 medical appointments, and both children tested positive for THC at birth.
- The parents are currently being held at the George W. Hill Correctional Facility, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for March 28.
