Pennsylvania Opens Glamping Reservations at Eight State Parks for 2026

A DCNR–Timberline partnership introduces hotel-style tents to broaden access.

Overview

  • Sixty-one safari-style tents will be added across eight parks for 2026, with at least one ADA-accessible unit at each participating park.
  • Reservations opened Oct. 7 for spring–fall stays and are available through DCNR’s Stay the Night page or timberlineglamping.com.
  • Rates generally range from about $130 to $200 per night depending on date, with some early May weekends at French Creek listed at $220.
  • Weeknights can be booked for a single night, while weekends and federal holidays require two nights, with 3 p.m. check-in and 10 a.m. checkout.
  • The rollout covers Poe Valley, Hills Creek, Laurel Hill, Pymatuning, Codorus, French Creek (Loops A and B), Hickory Run, and Promised Land, with park-specific seasons and a revenue share to support park improvements.
