Pennsylvania Family of Four Found Dead in Suspected Murder-Suicide

Authorities believe a father fatally shot his wife and two young children before taking his own life in their Westmoreland County home.

Paul Swarner, 35, is believed to have killed his wife Karen, 32, and their children Evelyn, 5, and Connor, 1, before turning the gun on himself.
The family was discovered in their Hempfield Township home on January 24 after relatives were unable to contact them.
A Ruger .22 handgun, suspected to be the weapon used, was recovered at the scene, and all four family members were found in the same room.
Investigators reported no prior history of domestic violence or visible signs of strife within the household, which was described as a 'loving' and 'all-American' family.
Police are examining electronic records and other evidence to determine a possible motive for the tragedy.
