Penn State selects Populous as architect, announces timeline for renovating Beaver Stadium

Populous, a Kansas City-based firm, will lead the renovation of Beaver Stadium beginning in January 2025.
Renovations will be completed before the 2027 football season and cost under $700 million, paid for by athletics.
Seating capacity will remain over 100,000; upgrades to include concessions, restrooms, accessibility, seating, and technology.
Winterization efforts could allow the stadium to host events like the NHL's Winter Classic.
The renovation was announced in October 2023 and will start in January 2025.
