Overview
- Peloton announced the new treadmill lineup on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, and said the models will go on sale in North America on October 1 as an early commercial test ahead of the holidays.
- The cheapest model, the Tread Flex, will start at $2,195 and is Peloton’s first foldable treadmill that contracts to roughly half its size to suit apartments and smaller homes.
- Peloton expanded its Peloton IQ software with a Run Analysis feature that uses live video to score running efficiency and give personalized pace, form and heart-rate guidance similar to an in-person coach.
- The company added Whoop integration so Peloton workouts feed personalized insights into the Whoop app and is broadening distribution through partnerships such as Spotify plus a push into commercial sales to hotels and gyms.
- Analysts say the product and distribution changes could help reach new buyers but expect near-term revenue to stay muted, making holiday sales and a planned debt refinancing next year key tests of the turnaround.
