The Pelicans have now won consecutive games for the first time since starting the season 2-0, snapping an 11-game losing streak in the process.
Washington's Kyle Kuzma scored a season-high 28 points, continuing his strong play since returning from injury, but the Wizards fell to 6-27 and now rank last in the league standings.
