Pedro Marques and Patrik Jaros Shine with Historic Wins at EPT Prague

Pedro Marques triumphed in the €5,300 EPT Prague Main Event, overcoming a record 1,458-player field to win €963,450 after a heads-up deal with runner-up Paul Runcan.
Marques staged an extraordinary comeback from a significant chip deficit, ultimately defeating Runcan, who had dominated from Day 4 to the heads-up stage.
Patrik Jaros, a Czech player, claimed victory in the €10,300 High Roller for €573,500, marking his second title of the festival after winning the €5,250 Pot Limit Omaha event.
The EPT Prague Main Event featured a prize pool of over €7 million, with the final table including notable players like Anton Bergstrom and Jaehyung Park, who finished fifth and third respectively.
Jaros credited his improved preparation and mindset for his success, while Marques described his Main Event win as one of the most special moments of his career.
