Pedestrian Killed by Train in Langley as RCMP Seek Witnesses

  • Langley RCMP received a report around 7:55 p.m. on Jan. 8 of a collision between a pedestrian and a train near 206 Street and 98 Avenue in Langley.
  • Officers, paramedics and the Township of Langley Fire Department responded and located the victim.
  • The person was pronounced dead at the scene, RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Zynal Sharoom said.
  • Authorities have not released any identifying information about the deceased.
  • Police have opened an investigation and are appealing for anyone who saw the collision to come forward.
