Pedestrian in His 30s Dies After Met Police Car on 999 Call Hits Him on Borough High Street

The police watchdog has opened an independent investigation following the fatal collision.

  • Part of Borough High Street was cordoned off with bus diversions during the morning, and the road later reopened around 9am; the man’s next-of-kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
