Overview
- The collision happened at about 3.30pm on Saturday between junctions 8 and 7 eastbound on the N7 at Kill.
- The pedestrian was taken to Tallaght University Hospital and later died from his injuries.
- The bus driver was uninjured and two passengers sustained injuries described as non-life-threatening.
- The eastbound stretch of the N7 was closed for a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators with diversions in place.
- A post-mortem is to be carried out as Gardaí appeal for witnesses and dash-cam footage, with related fatal incidents under investigation in Galway and Carlow.
