• El Paso Police identified the victim as Kevin Lopez-Vasquez, who was hit late Friday in East-Central El Paso.
• Officers responded around 9:45 p.m. near I-10 West and Paisano after reports of a person in the roadway.
• Westbound lanes were closed at Geronimo and remained shut into Saturday morning during the investigation.
