Overview

• A two-month trial began June 30 offering two- and four-seater pedal boats daily from 9 am to 6 pm.
• Seventy-three visitors took 20-minute rides on opening day with staff set to distribute feedback forms.
• Sabhyata Foundation is operating the service under a memorandum of understanding signed with the ASI on April 1, 2024.
• Mandatory life jackets in all sizes, NDRF-trained crew, insurance coverage and professional divers are in place.
• Ticket counters, new toilets and a cafeteria have been installed ahead of a full inauguration scheduled for September 1.
