Overview
- Core Devices has reclaimed the Pebble trademark and rebranded its Core Time 2 prototype as the Pebble Time 2, marking the official revival of the brand’s smartwatch lineup.
- The final industrial design uses 316 stainless steel for the case and knurled buttons, slimmer bezels around a 1.5-inch, 64-color e-paper touchscreen and flatter glass to reduce reflections.
- Confirmed hardware features include a heart-rate monitor, compass sensor, RGB multicolor backlight, second microphone and a 30-day estimated battery life.
- Pebble Time 2 is now available for pre-order at $225, with early backers soon receiving a survey to choose between four colorways or upgrade models without losing their place in line.
- The device remains an early engineering sample pending waterproof certification, final color selection and regulatory approvals, with shipments slated for December 2025 or January 2026 subject to change.
