Overview

• The Paper will premiere on Peacock on September 4, 2025, with the first four episodes available at launch and two new episodes released every Thursday through September 25.
• Domhnall Gleeson leads the cast alongside returning favorite Oscar Nuñez and series regulars Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young and Tim Key.
• Greg Daniels and Michael Koman serve as co-creators and executive producers joined by Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant, Howard Klein, Ben Silverman and Banijay Americas.
• Directing duties are shared by Greg Daniels and a team of veterans including Ken Kwapis, Paul Lieberstein, Yana Gorskaya, Tazbah Chávez, Jason Woliner, Jennifer Celotta, Matt Sohn, Dave Rogers and Jeff Blitz.
• The mockumentary follows the original documentary crew as they document efforts to save the Toledo Truth Teller, a historic Midwestern newspaper on the brink of collapse.
