Peacock Greenlights Crime Thriller 'M.I.A.' from 'Ozark' Co-Creator

Bill Dubuque's new series explores the dark underbelly of South Florida through the eyes of a woman seeking vengeance.

The series follows Etta Tiger Jonze as she transforms from an orphan to a powerful crime leader.
Karen Campbell will serve as executive producer and showrunner, with Stefano Sollima directing.
MRC, the production company behind 'Ozark' and 'Poker Face,' will produce the series.
The show joins a growing list of crime dramas set in South Florida, including 'Hotel Cocaine' and 'Griselda.'
Dubuque's previous work, 'Ozark,' received 45 Emmy nominations and four wins.
