- PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi said the board will operate Multan Sultans this season and auction the franchise after PSL 11, with an acting head to be appointed within 8–10 days.
- The auction for two new franchises is scheduled for January 8 at Islamabad’s Jinnah Convention Centre, with 10 technically qualified bidders cleared to participate.
