• PC Najeeb was attending a single-vehicle collision on Station Road in Raunds near Wellingborough at about 12:35 a.m. on September 19 when he was struck by a blue VW Polo.
• He was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge and died on September 26 despite medical treatment.
• Northamptonshire Police will retire his collar number P1967 and hold a two-minute silence at headquarters, where the flag has been flown at half-mast.
• Specialist family liaison officers are supporting his relatives, and the force has launched an internal health and safety investigation.
• Najeeb served on the Wellingborough response team after joining Northamptonshire Police in May 2022, having previously worked as a PCSO with Bedfordshire Police from February 2021.
